CIRCLE OF EMPOWERMENT, INC.
is a grass roots outreach community support program in Aposentillo, Nicaragua, located northwest of Chinandega. The project was started by Margaret (Meg) Boren on January 1, 2003.
Meg served as a volunteer nurse with the Lutheran Church in Nicaragua from 1999-2000 working with a Nicaraguan doctor to provide services to 9 villages without the amenities of electricity and water. Her love of the Nicaraguan people drew her back to Nicaragua and the beginning of Circle of Empowerment, Inc.

What We Do
The major goal of Circle of Empowerment, Inc., is to provide a mutually empowering network of Christians and other humanitarians in a true spirit of brotherhood with rural Nicaraguan villages in need.
This grass roots project focuses on the development of resources that help the people help themselves in the areas of health, education, and economic development. The work is done in cooperation and partnership with public programs within Nicaragua.
We host delegations with a focus on balance in our ocean side location. These delegations include medical, educational, artistic, and community work.
We can plan projects for your skills and have you working with the villagers.
